James Vincent McMorrow tourmates Wyvern Lingo drop new acoustic video
Following a slot supporting Hozier earlier this year, Irish trio Wyvern Lingo are releasing a new live video of their track “Used”.
The new video for “Used” was filmed in one take, and features the band performing totally a cappella in the Irish town of Cionakilty. Fans of First Aid Kit and The Staves will revel in Wyvern Lingo’s enveloping harmonies and plaintive lyricism, laid starkly bare in this minimal arrangement.
The band, composed of Caoimhe Barry, Karen Cowley, and Saoirse Duane, are currently touring in support of fellow Irishman James Vincent McMorrow. Their music has a lot in common with McMorrow’s brand of haunting modern folk, bringing together a cocktail of influences to create something utterly spine-tingling.
