London via Cumbria outfit Woman’s Hour caught the eye of pop’s most discerning tastemakers with their debut AA-side release, ’To The End’ / ‘Our Love Has No Rhythm’.
The four-piece are back today, with new tune ‘Darkest Place’ pencilled in for a 21 October release on the evergreen Luv Luv Luv Records. Toeing a similarly dusky line to their previous work, ‘Darkest Place’ finds chiming keyboard riffs and glassy guitars orbiting around Fiona Burgess’ wry, vibrating intonations and throbbing oohs.
Woman’s Hour headline Bethnal Green Working Man’s Club on 6 November, tickets here.
