Watch: Wolf Alice - "We're Not The Same" (Live at Toe Rag Studios) [Premiere]
Following on from the release of ‘Moaning Lisa Smile’ and ‘Storms’, fast rising north London quartet Wolf Alice have unveiled yet another live session from their recent time at the famed Toe Rag Studios.
Once more pulling material from the group’s recent Creature Songs EP (released in May through Dirty Hit), the band offer an impressive and intimate take of EP closing track “We’re Not The Same”.
Gaining notoriety for its all analogue set up and having housed recordings from the likes of Tame Impala, Metronomy and - perhaps most famously - The White Stripes, the live clip captures Wolf Alice in an entirely organic environment - one that suits their seething live sound to a tee. What starts life as a contemplative ballad soon erupts into a ferocious climax.
