Watch: Winhill/Losehill - "I'll Be Gone" [Premiere]
Swedish band Winhill/Losehill are debuting their ambitious video for new single "I'll Be Gone" exclusively on Best Fit.
The visuals for "I'll Be Gone" were directed by Linus Johansson, who shot it on an Xbox Kinect motion sensor "and a 3D laser scanner that can make you blind if you look at it". Visual effects artist Simon Tingell, who's worked on the Harry Potter franchise and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight also helped out on Winhill/Losehill's new video. Johansson said of the clip:
"We spent one day at an old abandoned mill in a village just outside Skellefteå, the whole project was very improvised and lust-driven, but we had a number of ideas we wanted to test, one was to scan the organic forms in nature and play with the contrast between technology and nature."
The YouTube blurb describes the video as "a musical and visual manifesto for life after death."
The band's album Trouble Will Snowball is out now; more information can be found here.
