Somebody at the TV Times must be in a good mood at the moment, as the music programming this week has been on top form. Just yesterday saw Beirut on Leno while an all-star bill of Grimes, Alabama Shakes and Jack White took it in turns on Jools Holland over these waters. Now this morning we bring you last night’s (or technically just a few hours ago if you consider the cross-Atlantic time distance) cable TV performance from none other than Philly’s The War On Drugs.
The group took to the stage on David Letterman’s late-night talk show and performed ‘Come To The City’, a standout cut from their excellent LP Slave Ambient.
Watch their appearance on the CBS show above.
