Electronic duo Team Morale are exploring blissfully exotic soundscapes so far removed from their hometown of Sevenoaks, Kent; you’d be forgiven for automatically assuming founding members George Cloke and Oli Dewdney spent their formative years getting high in the simmering LA sun and daydreaming up the hypnotic beats that echo deftly throughout their work.
‘Aurora’ is the first track to be previewed from their debut EP, Forteana, which is set for release on February 18th through Bristol’s Night Talk Records. The majestic self-shot video weaves together clips of the iconic flora and fauna of South America while tranquil guitars and subtle drum breaks lap gently away like cool water on hot white sand. ‘Aurora’ captures the imagination with its layers of idyllic production and sultry undertones melting together, offering a perfect Polaroid snap of paradise.
