Shot during a performance at the eerily-named Führer Bunker, this new live clip from goth-rock upstarts Savages is equally as intense as the setting might suggest.
It was the first time the group played new track ‘Shut Up’ live, which makes it all the more impressive, with singer Jehnny even needing a notebook of lyrics at hand just in case any prompters were needed. Alas there’s no slip ups and the fourpiece storm through the fresh material, totally nailing it.
Support at the Salford gig came from PINS, who we hear played almost entirely in darkness.
You can view some snaps taken at the band’s recent slot at White Heat here.
