Watch: Pallers wet appetites with album teaser
Stockholm’s finest moustache-wearers and pop nostalgists Pallers have given us a taste of new material from the duo’s forthcoming record The Sea of Memories, seen in the teaser video above.
The video (aptly titled ‘The Video of Memories’) starts off all sleek and softly-edged with synth-driven 80′s-inspired Euro-pop soundtracking what could easily be mistaken for a Roy Andersson flick. But mid-way the mood changes completely with a song sample that exhibits Pallers’ darker and more brooding side. This split sums up the schizophrenic nature of Pallers; a band whose founding members are divided by their differing loves of ambient and trip-hop as well as all things pop.
The Sea Of Memories is released via Labrador Records on September 28.
