Watch: Obama collabs with The Roots on Jimmy Fallon
Well, kind of.
Jimmy Fallon has really outdone himself this time. The American talk-show host is known for his great stars, he was the first in mainstream media to give Odd Future a breakthrough for example.
Many watching the show this week would have been happy enough with the billed musical guest of Dave Matthews, but then Fallon pulled the stage curtain to reveal none other than the President himself, who proceeded to “slow jam the news” with resident house band The Roots.
It’s the kind of thing suited more to a Brooklyn jazz cafe than Washington town hall. Whatever your thoughts currently are on Obama‘s regime (the honeymoon period has long been over), you must admit he’s still a pretty damn cool m’effer.
