Watch: Miike Snow perform 'Paddling Out' on Letterman
You can always count on Letterman to resolve the age-old question of how a band name is pronounced. One can only imagine that many friendships were severed and gambling money squandered when the talk show host first introduced guests “Blink One-Eighty-Two”.
Just Friday night, Miike Snow performed on the late-night chat show – solving the difficulty pronouncing their name once and for all. And it just so turns out that most of us were in fact wrong, it’s actually said “Mike Snow”, and not “Meeka” like director Takashi Miike despite common belief, making the band instead sound like some sort of gritty drug dealer.
Regardless, Miike Snow played their lead track ‘Paddling Out’ and it was more than a bit good.
