Watch: Kenzie May – “Skeleton Key”
With every release, Boston-bred/London-based songstress Kenzie May proves she’s a force to be reckoned with.
May’s just released the video for her new single “Skeleton Key” – a well-written song debating the difference between love and sex. She’s thoughtful and vulnerable in the visuals, trekking from a solo trip to the laundromat before meeting up with her leading man at a club. She’s hesitant yet ready, singing “I’m yours from the collarbone down” while submerged in a dark pool of water.
The R&B-tinged pop track is a sign of her forthcoming debut since releasing “Hide & Seek” (and remember her fun indie tune “Heartbeat”)? Miss May’s relatively flown under the radar barring her features for multiple producers including Sub Focus, FTSE, though all signs point to a debut project to be released later this year.
