North Carolina strummer Jackson Scott releases his debut LP Melbourne on 9 September and to celebrate, he’s recorded an appropriately creepy promo video for previously aired track, ‘That Awful Sound’.
The Fat Possum signee’s drooling guitar tones and foggy vocal chimes are accompanied by shots of a teenage boy trying to escape a recurring multi-coloured goo on what appears to be one of the shittiest birthdays ever. We’re yet to find one thing we don’t like about this talented young college dropout’s warped psych-rock sound.
Jackson plays Visions Festival on 10 August.
