Watch: Beirut play 'Santa Fe' on Jay Leno
Beirut are no strangers to U.S TV. Just last autumn, when The Rip Tide came out, they performed on both Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the Late Show with David Letterman.
This time round Zach Condon and co opted for Jay Leno’s late night helping and were in a typically triumphant mood. Running through an emphatic rendition of ‘Santa Fe’ from the aforementioned album, if Twitter‘s anything to go by they seem to have won the American public over third time of asking.
The group performed alongside guests Jack Black and two gentleman called the “meatball shop guys”. Yeah, we have no idea either.
