Viigo reveal smooth as hell electro-R&B single "Paranoia"
Synthy twosome Viigo are sharing their stunning new cut "Paranoia" on Best Fit.
Viigo impress with contrasts on this track, surprising you at every turn. It's forward-thinking and nostalgic; it's carefree and complex.
"Paranoia" is a tantalising fusion of sleek electro pop and tropical R&B, and although it's an endlessly sunny song on the surface, there's serious subject matter reigning supreme just below. There are pulsing Balearic waves, roaring bass, and shimmering rhythms - this track's so chill it's covered in ice, but at its core Viigo's latest effort is an "exploration of [anxiety's] debilitating effects".
The single is out now via 10K Islands.
