Glasgow’s Tuff Love introduce their joyfully dishevelled new single “Duke”
Building upon the fuzzy, lo-fi vigour of their Record Store Day 7” single “Groucho”, Tuff Love have released the newest addition to their sun-saturated repertoire with “Duke”.
The song is taken from the upcoming Dregs EP, due 6 November on 10” yellow vinyl via Lost Map Records. It offers up a slice of unbridled introspection filtered through layers of giddy distortion and punchy vocal harmonies.
Speaking about the track’s origins, the band revealed: “This song is based around a guitar melody that had been going round in the Tuff Love brain for a couple of years. It needed to have a home, so one day we wrote this. It’s about roots and growth.”
Stream “Duke” now and catch Tuff Love on their upcoming tour dates.
