Tom Misch takes the reins on dusky pop jewel "Watch Me Dance"
UK producer/singer Tom Misch is sharing new track "Watch Me Dance" from upcoming EP Reverie on Best Fit.
The track is a supremely chilled offering from Misch, who fuses acoustic pop motifs, neo-soul vocals, cinematic strings, and dusky funk vibes. This is the kind of low-lit, low-key banger that soundtracks scorched days into balmy nights - it's relaxed, fluid, and unconventional, and sees Misch cherrypick elements from a range of genres to sculpt something truly unique.
“The Reverie EP is a result of me wanting to take slightly more of a role as a songwriter and singer," says Misch of his upcoming release. "It's the first release I sing on every track and hopefully indicates the direction I want to go for my debut album."
The 21-year-old London artist will release Reverie on 15 July through Beyond The Groove. It follows Beat Tape 2 from last year. As well as "Watch Me Dance", Reverie features Loyle Carner collab "Crazy Dream", "Follow" featuring Laura Misch, and a new track titled "I Wish".
