“Together” is the latest infectious indie pop effort from Liverpool teen outfit The Night Café
With a debut that racked-up over 300k SoundCloud plays under their belt, The Night Café are back with their first effort of 2016, and it’s indie pop-rock perfection.
Still only in their teens, the Liverpool quartet - Sean Martin, Josh Higgins, Arran O'Connell, and Dan Fell - started playing music together at school, and this latest track explores their close-knit relationship, running through themes of friendship and family.
It figures then that the newcomers make such tight, smile-inducing music as jabbing, crunching guitars stab along towards the woozy, languid and psych-leaning chorus. “It’s the time together that we spend that makes as such good friends / I’ll be there ‘til the end,” Martin slurs with laid-back assurance.
A hometown slot at Liverpool’s Sound City is on the cards for this exciting new outfit as the continue their ascent towards the mainstream; get together with The Night Café below.
