Enigmatic outfit The Luna Programme craft tangible allure with "To Hold" [Premiere]
The Luna Programme unveil a debut release that proves both haunting and magnetising, premiering on Best Fit.
Describing the song as as "a free download, but not to be taken for granted", The Luna Programme are crafting a glamour to entrance. Guitars glimmer and shimmer, and an extract from Charles Baudelaire's "Les Chats" reverberates potently at the track's forefront; hazy vocals echo and ascend, calling out with an intensity it's impossible to shy away from.
Just as soon as the magic is built around you, the track ends. Transient, fleeting, but with an impact that's enduring, "To Hold" takes something intrinsically momentary and transforms it into a sprawling, resounding venture: "Every song by The Luna Programme is written and recorded in an hour, capturing a brief feeling. Not dwelling on each song means their songs are not reproducible. Therefore the Luna Programme, ultimately, remains equivocal."
