The Japanese House reveals new single "Clean", announces second EP
The Japanese House has announced a new EP, and shared its lead single/title track, "Clean".
The 19-year-old producer/singer will follow her acclaimed debut Pools To Breathe In with the Clean EP.
The Japanese House (aka Amber Bain) recorded the EP over the summer with George Daniel and Matthew Healy (The 1975), and advances her sound into a vivid world of rain droplet chimes, buzzing saxophones, dub-infused rhythms, and pitch-shifted vocals. It's a blossoming sound that errs towards pop, seeing Bain leave the semi-ambience on the backburner for now.
The Clean EP is out 6 November on Dirty Hit.
