"Unable To Stop" is the latest bare-boned blast of rock from The Entrepreneurs
Danish three-piece The Entrepreneurs are back with another blistering taster for their forthcoming debut EP
Made up of Mathias Bertelsen, Anders Hvass and Jonas Wetterslev, the Copenhagen-based trio have already unleashed "Brutal Summer" and "It Strikes Again, Love" from their Tony Rominger EP, named after the Danish-born cyclist and due to be released next month.
While those songs set up The Entrepreneurs as an incendiary rock band, "Unable To Stop" dials back the riffs to an extent, but without losing any of the band's energy. The focus on this track is the piledriving drumming of Wetterslev and the distinctively hypnotic vocals of singer Bertelsen, while guitarist Hvass provides subtle melodies which start in the background but slowly come to the fore as the track unfolds. What could have been a devoid-of-emotion post-punk track is transformed by the disparate elements of the threesome combining to give us an entrancing, addictive rush of a song.
