“Further” cements thatshymn as one of R&B’s brightest hopes
The 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Connecticut is blowing up on both sides of the pond with his mix of hypnotic grooves and silky smooth textures.
His breakout single “iKnow” sparked worldwide interest but the young man from South Norwalk still remains a bit of a mystery. A potential successor to The Weeknd’s crown, thatshymn explores darker themes than love and relationships, putting him in a bracket with the likes of D’Angelo and Rashiq.
