Swimming Tapes announce new Soft Sea Blue EP and share "Queen's Parade" video
Swimming Tapes have announced new EP Soft Sea Blue and shared the visuals for latest single "Queen's Parade".
"'Queen's Parade’ is a pleading note about the state of a beloved seafront street in our home town of Bangor, Northern Ireland," say the band of the track, which was originally unveiled last month. "Three of us grew up here and there was a sense you were watching something that seemed very beautiful slowly fade into nothing. Fond memories tainted by complete neglect whilst always hoping it will return to its former glory when it was full of life, or so it seemed when we were in our youth."
The single's London-shot video is produced by Zoe Mead of labelmates Wyldest.
Adam Jaffrey (Gengahr, Leif Erikson) produces the four-track EP, which follows up debut short-player Souvenirs.
