Birmingham quartet Swerve unveil "Daydream", a new single from their upcoming self-titled EP.
This first taste is a frothy web of striking drums and wriggling riffs. "Daydream" recalls Alex G's pulsier moments as it hurtles through the air, but the lo-fi melodies mix with grunge-infused howls and punchy percussion for something refreshingly loud.
The Swerve EP is out 26 February on their own label Modern Needs Records. The short player was recorded and mixed by Theo Verney at Church Road Studios, Brighton.
Pre-order the EP on limited edition transparent red 12".
