Brooklyn-based pop upstart Sve has unveiled her latest track - it's called "BLKNBL" ('black and blue'), and it's a whomping slab of synthpop glory.
The track follows brilliant pop nuggets "Riot" and "My Religion" in introducing us into Sve's world.
It employs military-march beats, animatronic basslines and powerful choruses to plunge straight into your heart. Sve leaves little room for umming and ahhing here: this is a tune that flicks two fingers up to a shitty ex. It's confident, huge, and the panting mantra of "I think I'm through with you" will be lodged in you mind for hours.
Sve's album My Religion is out 30 June.
