"Suspended" is a dark pop anti-banger from the Wolf Tone-signed Elle Watson
Curveball pop doesn't come stronger than the new track from Elle Watson and "Suspended" - a song about personal contradictions - is a powerful four and a half minute twilight anti-banger.
"The subject matter of the song is one I still hold close to my heart," Watson tells us. "It still feels pretty raw to me, so writing lyrics that were more on the poetic side gave me a guard that I could hide behind."
"Suspended" sees Watson continuing her knack for collaboration. She's worked with the likes of Joseph Hartwell Jones (FKA Twigs, Florence and the Machine) and her last single "Glued" was a Clams Casino production, On "Suspended" she hooked up with the Warp-singed Parisian IDM artist and producer Jackson Fourgeaud - aka Jackson & His Computer Band.
Watson plays a headline show in London this week - on 31 January at the Camden Assembly (yes, the place that used to be The Barfly)
