Listen: Sundays – Forces [Premiere]

Canada’s pool of electronic talent shows no sign of drying up, and for every Purity Ring or Grimes exploding from bedroom to superstardom, there’s an a k u a or Black Atlass coming up on the rails.

Vancouver’s Sundays shares more in common with LA siren Banks than any of her aforementioned peers, feeding an exotic, sentimental warble through a maze of picked acoustics and white noise drenched beats on ‘Forces’, the first delicate and dreamy taster of her self-produced debut EP Of Eros and I.

The EP is out next month, but ‘Forces’ offers up enough cotton candy melodies to satisfy even the sweetest bedroom pop tooth til then.
