For those not already a fan of Lil B, it took only one instance earlier in the month to change all this completely. This event in question was the rapper’s recent lecture to New York University, a lecture which you can view here and read the transcript of here (thanks to The Fader). It was enough for many, including yours truly, to give the guy a listen.

But if you haven’t already opened another tab to view or read said lecture yet, then here’s a little pull quote to help you get the general jist:

I thank y’all for not judging me and being able to respect us being humans. That’s what we should all be able to do. I specialize in love. A lot of people wonder, the small majority who don’t understand wonder why Lil B would be here. But you know, it’s good. I love to spread love, you know. That’s what I’m here to do.
