The mysterious Society tease upcoming album with new track “We All Have A Price To Pay”
You might remember Society - the project of elusive ex-Beggars frontman Jamie Girdler - from a few years back when they dropped some quality stuff on Roundtable and Angular. You may also remember a time when the world thought Girdler was actually Dangermouse.
Society return today with the announcement of a new album and teaser track “We All Have A Price To Pay”.
As with Girdler’s past work, it’s sleek, beckoning and ridiculously impressive - a sonically awesome layering of vocals and weeping melodies that feels like a collision of past, present and future.
"We finished this track the other day," Girdler tells us. "It was the last on the album which is now complete, we are excited to share it with you, expect more music this year".
