SIPHO. previews debut EP with the monumental "Bodies"
Birmingham-based artist/producer SIPHO. is the latest addition to Dirty Hit's growing roster and new single "Bodies" is his best work to date.
SIPHO. already has a whole catalogue of material showcasing his eclectic range, but what we've heard from his AND GOD SAID... EP sees him refining his sound and vision. "Bodies" and double single "Moonlight" are a lesson in the versatility SIPHO. possesses.
Interpolating Monsta Boy's garage classic "I'm Sorry", "Bodies" rolls everything into one boundary-breaking moment. Its dark foreboding tone pairs a passionate vocal performance with a tapestry of experimental pop layers to create something unique which will stop you in your tracks.
The collection sees SIPHO. examine his relationship with religion, raised as part of the Seventh-day Adventist church, it explores notions of faith and morality and, as the title suggests a conversation and reconciliation unfolds.
