ShitKid has fun blending desert rock with '70s pomp new song "RnR Sally"
Gothenburg-based Åsa Söderqvist, aka ShitKid, is sharing new song "RnR Sally" on Best Fit.
This track is the latest preview of the expanded edition of Söderqvist's debut EP, which was released in April and features "666" and "Oh Please Be A Cocky Cool Kid".
It's a rickety two minutes of stomping desert rock and lo-fi grunge, with psychedelic vocals and a solo dripping with '70s pomp. "RnR Sally" is outrageously fun and filthy, taking on the acid-infused output of Kyuss or Deap Vally with a real sense of fun - ShitKid gets better and better with every outing, and her next steps demand your undivided attention.
The expanded ShitKid EP is out 1 July via PNKSLM. ShitKid debut album is expected this winter.
