Sasha Brown delivers smouldering house-tinged pop on new single "Fix Of You"
With a show on Hoxton Radio and DJing at London Fashion week parties, it's a wonder Sasha Brown has any time for writing songs. Luckily, she does and her new single is a cracker.
With production from Benjamin Totten of Sound Collective (responsible for Kylie's recent "Dancing"), "Fix Of You" is a temptation-laden track mixing house, pop and R&B.
The track opens with a bassline slinky enough to match Brown's sexy af vocal, which playfully struts around the vice in the verses before delivering the pay off in a dynamic chorus full of banging synth triggers: "I just need my fix / need my fix / of you / tell me what you want...no pressure." Brown admits the relationship is dysfunctional, but she gives in to her needs and desire.
"Fix Of You" mixes club knowledge with some pop nous absolutely perfectly, and hopefully we'll here more from Sasha Brown very soon.
