Listen: San Mei – Brighter [Premiere]
Australian indie-pop artist San Mei, aka Emily Hamilton, is back with ‘Brighter’, a dazzling track, filled with adrenaline and glowing with the late summer sun.
It’s been over half a year since her last release, ‘Watch the Breezes’, and San Mei has stepped up her game, introducing us to an enchanting world of dreamy, catchy pop. The protruding drum beat, teamed with the layered, somewhat delicate vocals, energizes the track and creates an atmosphere of irrefutable wonder and excitement.
The enchanting synth creates a haze of glitter fuelled undertones, whilst producing a vivid image of summer loving, young adults dancing in the sun. Truly infectious, and certainly one for fans of Lykke Li.
‘Brighter’ is released on London’s Tidal Wave label next month.
