Saint Clair reveals rousing track "Heavy On My Heart" ahead of live debut
Laura Marling, Kwabs, and Ghostpoet collaborator Saint Clair is sharing an impressive new single called "Heavy On My Heart".
It's a rousing number with wiry, reverb-drenched guitars and a chorus that jabs you right between the ribs. "Heavy On My Heart" ditches genre conventions, with Clair presenting a nebulous knot of soul, pop, folk, and R&B - though it may be tough to pin down, it doesn't lack in emotion.
This is the second track from Saint Clair, following debut "Sailing", and is released on Wunderkind (the new imprint from Kieron McIntosh).
Clair is currently touring as part of Laura Marling's live band, but will be making her live debut at London's Birthdays on 20 June.
