Rationale releases "Prodigal Son" following support slot with Bastille
As voices go, Rationale’s rich baritone is one of the most distinctive out there.
New single “Prodigal Son” showcases his velvety vocal depths over a signature electro-infused track, complete with rousing chorus.
Based in London, and recently honing his live performance supporting Bastille on their arena tour of Europe, Rationale was born in Zimbabwe. Before relocating to the United Kingdom, his mother introduced him to music via her eclectic record collection. These early influences are reflected in Rationale’s stylistically diverse discography, and will doubtless be expanded upon in his debut full-length project, out early next year.
Of “Prodigal Son”, Rationale says, “I think the subject matter is very relatable yet oddly personal. If anything, I hope it will strike a chord with people who may have been through similar awakening of the mind.“
