Electro-pop artist Puzzle shares eclectic piano-led track “Kamikaze”
Born in Brazil, now based in London, self-described “enigmatic pop experimentalist” Puzzle shares thunderous new track “Kamikaze”.
Taken from Puzzle's upcoming debut EP Babylon, “Kamikaze” opens with steady piano, quickly gaining dance-infused percussion as it hurtles towards a Years & Years-esque chorus. The singer’s love for high-concept art shines through in the track’s unexpected elements, from growling synths to spooky multi-tracked vocals at the track’s close.
The genre-spanning “Kamikaze” is an audible example of Puzzle’s intriguing ability to draws inspiration from across several spheres. It’s clearly an approach that works, as the artist has already landed live slots in support of Elton John collaborator Bright Light, Bright Light, and electro-acid-popster Ella Exxe.
