Parisian duo SACRE share the intense electro-pop of "8:00PM JUNGLIZATION"
"8:00PM JUNGLIZATION" is the second single to be shared from SACRE's forthcoming album LOVE REVOLUTION: a synth-heavy cut of surprisingly punishing intensity.
"As people, we live for art," explain SACRE members Hawaii and Sukil. "This is what we portray with this album. We are 360°, full circle creators on LOVE REVOLUTION. We are writing a story, writing the tracks, writing the lyrics, recording, singing, producing, designing the scenes and the outfits, as well as designing our own logo and the visuals we share."
It's no surprise, then, that "8:00PM JUNGLIZATION" is so overwhelmingly immersive, its banks of synthesisers and stereo percussion building a textural richness that feels almost tangible. In terms of genre, it's impossible to pigeonhole: dance, pop, and electronic elements coexist without any one emerging dominant.
"We wrote ['8:00PM JUNGLIZATION'] because we do think self-love is the unique key of love," the pair explain. They continue, elaborating how the track fits into the timestamped story of LOVE REVOLUTION that began with "7:00PM VAHINE": "Where we are in the story: it’s 8pm. The girl with the red beret is still dreaming in front on her vahine. On the other side of the city, a journalist from Radio 64 is interviewing Hawaii in a bar. The perfect occasion for him to be heard talking about love."
