POWERS go intergalactic with Mike Del Rio-led “Man On The Moon”
Teasing their forthcoming debut album Alpha, genre-bending duo POWERS share new single “Man On The Moon”.
Showing a different side to the pair, the alternative-pop track is seemingly missing something. That something is the power-packed punch of Crista Ru - without Ru’s vocal it does feel a little less like a POWERS track. That said, if debut albums are for anything they're for exploring the whole sound of your project for that milestone first full-length release.
With its hazy synths and drowsy vocals, "Man On The Moon" is POWERS continuing to expand their sound. Having originally moved from New York to Los Angeles to pursue careers as songwriters, POWERS was a happy accident. A couple of viral hits and collaborations later, the pair will release their long awaited debut Alpha next month.
