Pleasure Beach share their euphoric new single "Magic Mountain"
The stadium-aiming Belfast bunch Pleasure Beach have unloaded new anthem-in-the-making, "Magic Mountain".
The new track follows heavyweight songs such as "Hayley", "Go", and "Dreamer To Dawn".
This is a huge offering from the band, recalling Bruce Springsteen thanks to its effortless hugeness, as well as modern masters The War On Drugs with its endless charm. Rampant rhythms and a marauding axe solo propel "Magic Mountain" towards a euphoric summit, but it's not pure pomp - it's buoyed by sun-magnet melodies and earnest emotion. This is massive.
Earlier this year Pleasure Beach played our new music festival, the Five Day Forecast, and told us a bit about themselves.
The new single is out 22 April on Faction.
