Reading four-piece Palm Honey debut ensnaring psych pop single "Bewitched"
Otherworldly yet grounded in an indie pop sound aesthetic, Palm Honey's latest cut "Bewitched" is a swirling gem.
Greeted by flashes and bursts of synth, "Bewitched" immediately beholds an almost extra-terrestrial quality. Immersive and spacious, the track is a disorientating trip that sends you hurtling through the Palm Honey vortex.
Within the kaleidoscope of the Reading quartet's sound, hypnotic pop hooks and warbling solos are met by the drawl of frontman Joseph Mumford. Palm Honey’s sugar-stained sound echoes their psychedelic predecessors.
The band says: “Palm Honey is an upbeat psychedelic experience. We make music that puts us right inside your brain. Lose your mind and dance with us”.
"Bewitched" is released on 28 October. Catch the band at The Secret Festival , Brighton on 25 October and The Horn, St Albans for Juicebox Indie on 12 December.
