Are we getting the return of Florence and The Machine this week?
The wait is over - Florence and The Machine are (hopefully) dropping their new single on 12 April!
Mike Walsh, head of music at Radio X, suggested (in a now-deleted Tweet) that the first single from the British band's upcoming fourth studio album High As Hope would be with us on Thursday.

The release also appeared briefly on the Dutch Record Store Day website before being swiftly removed. In the now-deleted post, it was reported that the single would be officially released on 21 April (aka Record Store Day) and would be available on clear vinyl. Good luck getting your hands on that one!
Fan account The Standom claimed to have further news regarding the full-length record, including a provisional release date of 29 June and a 10-song tracklist. This is yet to be confirmed by the band, whose latest official release was a cover of Elton John classic "Tiny Dancer" for Revamp, a compilation album featuring everyone from Miley Cyrus to Queens Of The Stone Age taking on the back catalogue of Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
