“Pockets” is a bizarre exploration of a dream land from nemui pj
nemui pj have crafted a delicate and emotive journey through hazy dreamscapes on "Pockets".
nemui pj is the slightly perplexing brainchild of acclaimed Japanese artist and composer Noah and DJ kidkanevil. A mixture of electronic soundscapes and minimal static loops, the duo’s new project has links to their previous, independent work but is very much a shift in a new direction.

“Pockets” is a song that is strikingly child-like in its simplicity. This comes from two people who named their group after their mutual appreciation for pyjamas so that should come as no surprise. This hazy track scores those moments where one drifts between reality and dreamland, with the minimalistic elements and falsetto vocalisation evoking feelings of nostalgia and melancholy.
