Stepping out from behind the drums of electronic outfit Bonzai, Miles Pascall continues to forge on with his solo career, sharing new single “Laila’s Song”.

Showcasing Pascall’s clear, soulful vocals over sparse piano, the track is a distinct departure from the often hectic dancefloor beats of Bonzai. It’s a welcome change, however, with “Laila’s Song” arriving as a swift follow-up to his EP The Little Book of Yours Truly, released earlier this year. The new track shows a tender side to the instrumentalist’s work, with tentative and questioning lyrics sure to resonate with many.
