Meernaa tease upcoming EP with the pure delight that is "Now I Know"
"Now I Know" is a deep-dive into the endlessly interesting mind of Carly Bond. Upon your exploration, you will find that Meernaa's head honcho's imagination is as intriguing as it is beguiling and mysterious.
"Now I Know" is a track that is hard to pin down; every time you try to grab hold of one of its layers, it slips beyond your grasp, seemingly transforming in front of you. It glides and saunters with a jazzy elegant ease where the wonderful brass interjections add an awe-inspiring flash of brightness.
Explaining the influence behind the track, Bond says "While we were recording this song I'd been listening to a lot of David Bowie's Young Americans and anything I could get my hands on by NAO. It was originally this guitar driven song, but swiftly turned into this big chorus filled with inspiration from those artists."
The track is taken from Meernaa's upcoming EP, entitled Strange Life, and is a perfect demonstration of their complex yet strikingly appealing and unique sound.
