Fiction signing Meanwhile has a La Roux support slot to fill this autumn but before then his second offering “Bigger City” sees the home counties boy mainline a funk-infused vibe that’s utterly exhilarating.
Prince comparisons would be lazy but the artist better known to his mother as Tom Andrews is clearly in thrall to some of the finer nuances of the Paisley Park legend’s back catalogue.
