Watch: Matthew and the Atlas – “Nowhere Now”
Communion alumni Matthew and the Atlas – the working name of Matt Hegarty – released his slow-burner of a debut Other Rivers earlier this week and new single “Nowhere Now” is set to follow early next month.
-“Nowhere Now” is the follow up to recent cut “Pale Sun Rose” and the clip for the track has a distinctly abominable flavour. Pulling at the empathy heartstrings, we follow a misfit monster on his travels from the forest to the city in search of belonging. It’s a fine accompaniment to Hegarty’s distinct vocals and the songs strident sensitivity.
Watch the video above. The track is released via Communion on 5 May and Other Rivers is out now – read our review.
