The Line of Best Fit
The Algerian/Finnish Manna has been quiet since her debut Songs of Hope and Desire hit two years back but returns today with a sublime track and related clip to pave the way for her next long-player.
She’s been described as a cross between Patti Smith and Charlotte Gainsbourg which doesn’t quite do justice to her incredible vocal delivery, which resonates with the same jazz flecks that made Amy Winehouse such a wonderful proposition. Watch below.
Manna’s new record will be released this Autumn via Solti.
