Scottish musician MALKA is back with the second track from her forthcoming second album, and she's taking on the leader of the free world.
"Fell For You" is a fuck-you to President Donald Trump, with an appropriately mocking video to accompany the track.
The song is in familiar MALKA-style; heavily percussive, with bright synths, chanting and charming vocals, it balances out the grim message in the lyrics of being conned by Trump rhetoric, and also addresses the tiring nature of his presidency...we're barely fifty days in and the barrage of assaults on decency has become exhausting.
But with this, MALKA is pushing back against any apathy in the way she knows best.
"Fell For You" has a striking video illustrated by John Riordan and animated by Paul Roper. The track will be out 17 March via Tantrum Records.
