Mabel finds herself in a predicament with infectious pop track “Thinking Of You”
Mabel, the UK capital’s breakthrough R&B artist, reveals new track “Thinking Of You”.
Bouncing from the recent grime boom, Mabel was first (perhaps unknowingly) noticed in Skepta’s infamous "Shutdown" video. Straight off "Shutdown"’s set, the soulful sensation found her sound, and was tipped for Big Things at the end of 2015.
Mabel’s new track "Thinking Of You" pounds with excitement and lust through the synth beat and euphoric harmonies. The infectious complications of Mabel’s track comes from the lyrics, which give an honest insight to finding romance; even on the first listen you can relate to the infuriating truth of trying to figure your own head out.
Infused with iconic '90s R&B tones, "Thinking Of You" sees Mabel venture through her urban romance, dwelling in iconic spots like London’s Trellick Tower. Her soulful vocals and teenage crush persona is a refreshing insight into the capital's dominant urban music scene, and is only the beginning of something special.
