Listen: Tropics – Invitation

‘Invitation’ is the work of UK producer Chris Ward, aka Tropics. The track is a kaleidoscopic piece of electro-disco with smatterings of 90s dance thrown in for good measure by punchy piano chords. A meandering beginning lulls you into a relaxed sense of security before the bouncing rhythm, fidgeting vocal samples and slap bass kick in and create an entirely upbeat experience.

Having remixed the likes of Poliça and M83, let’s hope for more from Tropics.
