Listen: Tove Styrke - "Ego (1987 remix)"
Stockholm-based producer 1987 has remixed Tove Styrke's massive single "Ego", and you can stream the results now.
1987's edit swerves from the peppy, organic style of optimistic pop, transforming Styrke's vocal lines into something considerably more menacing. The inclusion of mechanical handclaps and house keys morph her whispery chorus into a dark and stormy dancefloor ditty, something begging for strobes, bustling bodies and the sweat-soaked atmosphere of a festival tent at 4am.

"Ego" features on Styrke's upcoming LP Kiddo. The original single is out now via Sony.
